Three boys from Delhi, aged 9 to 11, ran away from home, hoping to meet Bollywood actor Salman Khan. They had become friends with a boy online while playing the game Free Fire, who claimed he knew the star.

On July 25, the boys packed their bags, left a note saying they were off to meet a friend in Jalna, and disappeared. Their families quickly contacted the police.

Delhi Police started searching. CCTV footage showed the boys heading towards New Delhi Railway Station. Phone data and train tracking led the police to believe they had boarded the Sachkhand Express, which travels to Mumbai.

Meanwhile, Jalna Police visited the online friend’s home but didn’t find the boys. Later, brief signals from one boy’s phone helped police trace them to Nashik. A search team was sent, and the children were found safe at Nashik Railway Station.

The boys said they had been talking to the Jalna boy for over a year. When he said he had met Salman Khan, they got excited and decided to travel to Mumbai to meet the actor themselves.

A case was filed, and the children were brought back home safely.

Delhi is getting ready to make its nightlife more exciting. The city government is planning food streets that will stay open late, serving a mix of popular local dishes along with music and cultural shows.

Food Trucks in Key Areas

PWD Minister Parvesh Verma said that food trucks will be placed in busy locations like Connaught Place and Chandni Chowk. These trucks will serve food from 10 PM to 1 AM to give people more night-time food options.

Inspired by Indore’s “56 Dukaan”

This idea takes inspiration from Indore’s well-known “56 Dukaan” area, which is famous for its street food and active night scene. Delhi hopes to create something similar to boost tourism and support local culture.

Pilot Project to Begin Soon

The plan will first be tested in one area—most likely Connaught Place, Hauz Khas, or Chandni Chowk. If successful, more zones will follow. Cleanliness will be a priority, and vendors ignoring hygiene rules may lose their licenses.

Support for Local Businesses and Artists

This move is expected to help street vendors, artists, and small shop owners by giving them more visibility and income. It’s also aimed at creating jobs and offering Delhi’s residents a safe, lively space to enjoy at night.
