A startling video from Lucknow has gone viral, capturing a commotion in a VVIP apartment near the Vikalp Khand-3 Malhaur police post in the Vibhutikhand area. The disturbance was caused by a monitor lizard, often mistaken for a crocodile, which made its way to the second floor of the apartment complex, causing widespread panic.

In the video, a woman entering her room is confronted by the large, reptilian creature. Her phone’s camera captures the moment she spots the lizard, leading to a panicked reaction as she screams and runs away, fearing for her safety. The footage has rapidly gained traction on social media.

The big question remains: how did the lizard manage to reach the second floor? It is believed that the creature crawled up from the ground level. The presence of the lizard sent shockwaves through the apartment complex, prompting residents to immediately alert the police and forest department.

Responding swiftly, the forest department team arrived at the scene, safely capturing the iguana. They assured the residents that iguanas are generally non-aggressive and pose no immediate threat. The team then relocated the iguana to a secure location.
