As per the police, two men reportedly assaulted a car driver and a woman after their vehicles collided on Friday night in Ghaziabad’s Sahibabad area. The accused allegedly picked up the car driver and dragged him on their car’s bonnet for nearly 3-5 kilometers. The police have registered a case and arrested the two men. They stated that the accused were under the influence of alcohol and had hit two or three vehicles.

According to the woman, who approached the police around 2-3 am on Saturday, she was returning from work with her driver, Vijay, when a Wagon R car collided with their vehicle at around 10 pm on Friday. The accused were speeding, and upon being asked about their reckless driving, they attacked the woman and her driver. One of the accused even took their car key and hit Vijay with bricks. The woman was also slapped and beaten up. When Vijay asked for the keys, the accused took him to their car and dragged him on the bonnet. There were two men, both of whom were drunk, and some people followed them until Vijay was later rescued.

A video captured from the spot shows the accused being chased by a car as they drag the victim on the bonnet. The locals can be seen shouting and arguing with the accused, who eventually speed away in an attempt to flee.
