Madhu Vihar Double Suicide Case: Couple Takes Their Lives, Citing External Pressure

Delhi Police has recently come across a case of suicide involving a married couple in the West Vinod Nagar area. A suicide note was found near their bodies, which the police have recovered. The note contains the names of some individuals who allegedly compelled them to take this extreme step. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter by sending the bodies for post-mortem examination. The case has been registered at Madhu Vihar Police Station under FIR number 312/23, U/S 306/34.

According to Delhi Police, they received a call on the PCR today, providing information about a couple who had committed suicide in their home at Gali No. 10, West Vinod Nagar. After receiving the information, a team from Madhu Vihar Police Station reached the scene. The brother of the deceased, Chandrashekhar, who resides on the third floor of the building, informed them that the deceased, Dinesh Tiwari, lived with his wife Neelam Tiwari, and their two children in a flat on the second floor.

Chandrashekhar mentioned that he also resides on the third floor of the building. When the Tiwari couple’s children returned from school in the afternoon, they found the flat locked from the inside. Despite knocking repeatedly, the gate did not open. Subsequently, they informed Chandrashekhar, who broke open the door and discovered Dinesh Tiwari and his wife Neelam Tiwari lying dead in the room. A suicide note was found beside the bodies, in which they had mentioned the names of some individuals who allegedly drove them to commit suicide. The police called the crime team to the scene and collected evidence. The bodies were then transported to LBS Hospital. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter.
