Q1. After Friends Vol 1 and 2, How did you come up with the third book name The Corporate Eagles?

I have worked for more than 25 years in the corporate world from fresher to top management positions so have a fair knowledge of its working universe which is akin to flying high with all its perils and thrills. I thought the soaring Eagle was an apt symbol for my corporate story. So the name Corporate Eagle- A Soaring Success Story.

Q2. Describe your writing space. And at what time of the day do you usually write?

I prefer the evening before dinner time when the day distractions are over and the mind relaxed to write a story. Sometimes even after dinner till late at night but that time is mostly reserved for listening to music before tucking into bed. I may have missed innumerable calls for dinner from my wife Kalpana while I was glued to my writing and realized later how patient she had been. My apologies to her.

Q3. In all your 3 books What had been the most difficult part about writing for you?

Piecing everything together. The sequencing and credibility of whatever was unfolding in the story. At times it required intense thought and research that was rewarding but never stressful.

Q4. What would you say is your most interesting writing quirk?

Let the story unfold naturally and never force anything. My quirk in writing is to reread everything a number of times and avoid commas and write in short sentences and paragraphs. Language should be that of a layman simple and of everyday life.

Q5. Do you hear from your readers much? What do they say?

I hear sometimes from my readers and most seem to like what I write. Some of course want to know how I am able to write on completely diverse subjects but that would require a long explanation, So I keep them guessing.
