The heartfelt novel delves into the emotional relationship between a young woman named Samriddhi and her ancestral house, “Sukh-Sadan”, which stands on the brink of being sold. Through her captivating narrative, Vasvi Tiwari explores the lives of an unconventional Brahmin family living in a small town, unraveling their funny and intimate anecdotes that make up a large brood.

For Vasvi story writing came as a pleasant surprise. It presented itself at the most difficult times the world ever saw; the pandemic. Vasvi Tiwari a lawyer by profession was taken on one of her most delightful paths when she began to set her thoughts on paper. Presently based in Mumbai the author earlier lived in the Sangam city of Allahabad (Prayagraj). She completed her degree in Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from the University of Allahabad and later completed her degree in LL.b. from the University of Mumbai. She practiced law in the Real Estate sector and took many legal challenges along the way.

As her latest book continues to gather reader’s affection her first book ‘The Bedford Tearoom’ is a beautifully crafted tale of Vivian and her Aunt Bernice who run a renowned tearoom in Bath, a small town in the south of England.  The story gives us insight into many aspects of Victorian life keeping us pirouetting over a simple yet silent love story.
