The atmospheric conditions in the Delhi and Noida regions have recently undergone a remarkable transformation, as the sky is draped in a covering of clouds. The latest report from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) illuminates the upcoming rainfall patterns.

According to the projections by the meteorological agency, significant rainfall is anticipated today across the southern and eastern sectors of Delhi. This includes prominent locations such as Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Defence Colony, Lajpat Nagar, Kalkaji, Tughlakabad, Seemapuri, Dilshad Garden, Sahadara, Seelampur, Vivek Vihar, Akshardham, and Greater Faridabad. Furthermore, there’s a strong possibility of substantial downpours in Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram.

As per the estimations provided by the meteorological experts, the minimum temperature for Tuesday is likely to linger around 29 degrees Celsius, while the maximum might reach a peak of 36 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, New Delhi is poised to encounter an overcast sky today. Alongside the cloud cover, the city is also expected to receive brisk rainfall. The meteorological specialists indicate that light rain might continue over New Delhi on both Wednesday and Thursday.

Shifting our focus to Noida, the meteorological forecasts indicate a sky veiled in clouds with occasional episodes of rain or thundershowers occurring intermittently. A minor reduction in the maximum temperature is also anticipated for this region. The IMD predicts that Noida could observe a maximum temperature of approximately 35 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius today. Moreover, there are signs of substantial rainfall on the horizon for August 5th in Noida.

Significantly, a multitude of states across the nation are presently encountering copious amounts of rainfall. The hilly terrains, in particular, are grappling with a continuous onslaught of rain. Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are contending with persistent rainfall and landslides, resulting in the closure of several roads. These states have also incurred substantial economic losses due to these unfavorable conditions.
