A progression of canine assaults in Gurugram and adjoining regions have called the consumer forum in the city to ask for a prohibition on a few canine varieties. The district consumer questions redressal gathering had given orders to the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG) to boycott 11 types of canines. The Gurugram consumer discussion gave the heading while at the same time requesting pay of Rs 2 lakh for a truly harmed by a pet lady canine assault in civil Lines in August.
The forum said American Pit-bull Terriers, Dogo Argentino, Rottweiller, Neapolitan Mastiff, Boerboel, Presa Canario, Wolf Dog, Bandog, American Bulldog, Fila Brasileiro, and Cane Corso are hereby completely banned from November 15, 2022.
