Faridabad: Six held for duping 200 people in insurance policy scam

The Faridabad Police have captured six individuals for supposedly scamming of 200 individuals across a few states with Insurance Policies.

The charged have been identified as Ashok, Shaan, Amit, Pradeep, Tarun and Ravinder. The police said among the charged, Shaan hails from Mahoba locale in Uttar Pradesh and others from Delhi. The Police said the charged had been working from a call center in Janak Puri, Delhi and added that two accessories are on the run.

Basant Kumar, Station House Officer, Cybercrime Police Station, Faridabad said that the accused used to obtain information for LIC policyholders from intermediaries.

“In the wake of acquiring information, the charged acted like LIC specialists and reached policyholders. They cleared up for the policyholders subtleties of their present strategies to acquire their trust. The denounced then tricked the casualties by offering a “superior” approach with “ensured” better yields. The blamed made bogus guarantees for better returns and removed cash on the guise of insurance contracts,” said Kumar.

The Police said a test was started after a Faridabad Resident documented a police objection charging that he was tricked of Rs 8.5 lakh in an arrangement extortion. A FIR was enrolled at the Cybercrime Police Station.

“Out of these 242 cases, 8 were enrolled in Haryana. We are scrutinizing the blamed to figure out the subtleties for this large number of cases. The principle blamed are Ashok, Shaan and Amit, who concocted the game plan. The other denounced acted like protection specialists and brought the casualties via telephone to con them. The denounced were delivered in a District Court on Monday and shipped off Judicial Custody,” said Singh.

Massive fire at Amritsar government medical college hospital, no casualty reported

A massive fire broke out at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital in Punjab’s Amritsar on Saturday. Flares were seen emerging from the clinic complex in a video shared by news organization ANI. The reason for the fire is obscure.

Fire Officer Lovepreet Singh said, “Initially, the fire broke out in the transformers. Eight fire tenders reached on spot. The fire is under control. No injuries reported.”

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann later guaranteed that he is investigating the matter, and is persistently checking the help work.

Mundka Fire Tragedy: Delhi CM Kejriwal orders probe, announces Rs 10 lakh relief for kin of deceased

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has reported a remuneration of Rs 10 lakh each for groups of the individuals who passed on in the fire in Mundka on Friday. Four thieves steal Rs 13.28 lakh from ATM in Gurgaon

Four unidentified criminals supposedly took Rs 13.28 lakh from an ATM of a private bank in Gurgaon Friday.
