Delhi Police’s Crime Branch team has arrested a cunning Bangladeshi robber. He used to form a new gang before each robbery. After carrying out a major robbery or crime, he would disband the gang. During the robberies, he avoided using mobile phones and vehicles to evade police tracking. However, during an encounter, the Crime Branch team arrested Bangladeshi robber Miraj and his accomplice Shahid.

Police revealed that after receiving information from an informant, a trap was set to capture Miraj in a village in Dwarka. When the police team spotted Miraj and asked him to surrender, he and his accomplice opened fire on the police team. One bullet hit Inspector Akshay’s bulletproof jacket. Meanwhile, Head Constable Gaurav narrowly escaped Shahid’s gunfire.

Bangladeshi robber Miraj had carried out a major robbery of ?2 crore in Ashok Vihar. He had looted 2 kilograms of gold from there. After that, on March 13, he had committed a major robbery in Preet Vihar in Delhi by taking a family hostage. According to the police, information was received that from this location, ?29 lakh cash and a large quantity of gold jewelry were looted.

The Crime Branch team had been searching for Miraj for quite some time. According to Delhi Police, to evade police, Miraj did not use a mobile phone. He also did not use a car or vehicle. Not only that, he was so cunning that before committing any robbery, he would form a new gang by including new boys. By giving them a share of the loot money, he never met them again. The gang members also did not know each other. Miraj would directly contact them.
