Delhi Metro Implements Night Exit Restriction at Rajiv Chowk for New Year’s

Planning to celebrate New Year’s in Delhi? If you’re taking the metro, note that the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will not permit exits from Rajiv Chowk Station after 9:00 PM on December 31st. This move is aimed at crowd control and enhanced security. However, entry into the station is allowed until the last train departs. DMRC assures regular services on other metro routes will operate as usual.

Delhi Police will also regulate traffic to Connaught Place after 8:00 PM, deploying 2,500 traffic police personnel and 250 teams to curb drunk driving. Stay informed and enjoy a safe New Year celebration in Delhi!
