Bepannaah’s ending could have been better, says Jennifer Winget

Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda starrer Bepannaah went off air last week. In an interview, the actress shared her thoughts on the show ending all of a sudden.

Jennifer Winget is one of the most talented and stunning television actresses. People admire Jennifer for her different roles and how beautifully she portrays them on screen. In her last show Bepannaah, Jenny played the role of Zoya and fans were in love with the beauty, innocence and giving nature of her character. The show also starred Harshad Chopda in the lead role. The show aired on TV for 7 months and the last episode was aired last week.

While the fans are heartbroken with their favourite show going off air all of a sudden, even the actors are quite upset. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Jennifer Winget was asked what are her thoughts on Bepannaah ending and from her answer, it seems that the actress is not quite happy with the way it ended. Winget said that it hit her hard  when they had wrap up party on set as they realised they didn’t have to report next day on the said. She said she was going through motions as they have been shooting daily. The gorgeous actress is sad that it’s over and has a bittersweet feeling towards what happened.

She added, “The show ended in seven months and I think we could have given it a better ending, as I felt it was a bit abrupt.”

The makers of the show were planning to air Bepannaah on digital media. However, both Jennifer and Harshad opposed to the decision and hence, the makers had to take this step. When asked why they didn’t wanted it to go digital, Jennifer Winget said, “I can speak for myself. For me, this show was conceptualised for the television audience. There is something sweet about a short lived journey and dragging it (the show) may eventually end up ruining it. I went with my instinct and took a decision.”

Well, we clearly miss the show and Jennifer and Harshad’s wonderful performances. Are you happy with that the show went off air? Let us know in the comments below.
